I really love this stereo. I like Sony products. The sound is very high quality.
by the way i got this on sale at best buy for 160 bucks. Excellent stereo system. great buy if you are looking for a good stereo system. althoguh i would have paid the regular price for it. looks great, sounds great, bass hits very well. i hooked this up to my sony vaio media pc and it sounds superb, blows away a regular computer speaker setup.
Pros:-530wrms-Dual Ported sub for extremely loud bass-Audio In (3.5mm)-Wireless remote-Exhaust fan in rear to prevent overheatingCons:-Ported satellite speakers (if they were sealed, would be better clarity and less bassy with movies).-Sub woofer doesn't turn off when system is off (will drive electric bill up leaving it on 24/7).-Volume knob isn't great, it's over sized and when turning slowly, it doesn't reflect revolutions like I would want it to.-3 Disc cd changer seems cheaply designed, but I never use it, so doesn't bother me.-Cords for sattelite speakers are very short, but merely adding some 16g speaker wire fixed that quickly.-Display on receiver is small and worthless.
An awesome stereo for the price, I wish it had more equilizer presets but other than that, for the sound you get for such a low price it is hard to beat
I was really surprised howbig the box was. If you like heavy bass then this is a great system for you for under $140. Just wish I could control the bass. (To me it is).
This system gets really, very loud. The company packaged it up real good for shipping.It's worth the extra shipping charge you have to pay. Oh, the packaging it comes in is HUGE. I can only get it up to volume 22 and then my ears start screaming.But I don't like not being able to control the bass, treble, etc.They have an equalizer but it's one of those preset "Rock, Jazz, Flat."I'm not happy with that 'cause a lot of times the bass is just too damn overwhelming for the music.
This system definitely has a lot of kick for something so small.Id recommend it. You may be just as surprised as I was when you see how big the box is. It's why I didn't give the product a 5. (plus shipping) The subwoofer is amazingly big.
